FUNKY FIBERS? "Miss Chickpea's Funky Fibers" is more than just a standard knit shop! We carry the yummiest selection of hand-tied yarns, hand dyed yarns, hand spun yarns, and sometimes they are both hand dyed and hand spun...! We have lots of these fibers -12 artists across the US so far -and some are even exclusive to Miss Chickpea's! We also carry a terrific selection of felting supplies for the wet or needle felter! MMMmmm, we LOVE fiber! Creativity abounds, here! | ||||||

OUR YARN STASH? We also carry many well known yarn companies: Brown Sheep, Rowan, Berrocco, Noro, JCA, Crystal Palace, Colinette, Tahki/Stacey Charles, Trendsetter, Prism, and some companies not so well known, yet, but they should be: SWTC, Shibui, Habu Textiles, Kollage, Tilli Tomas, Ironstone, Interlacements, Great Adirondack -these are the companies that help us stay true to our name "Miss Chickpea's FUNKY Fibers!" Everything from corn to bamboo, crab shells to soy, even stainless steel -these companies are truly fun! | ||||||

BOOKS OR PATTERNS? We have awesome pattern support from most of our companies, as well as a terrific selection of contemporary titles from all the major book manufacturers. We have unique patterns as well, from many small pattern companies -again, just as cool, if not cooler than the bigger companies(!) -Mac & Me, Pick Up Sticks, Chris Bylsma Designs, to name a few, but not to forget our own favorite pattern company, Ewe & I Originals, founded by two of our very talented employees/teachers, Kathy Disantis and Dianne Rodabaugh! You will have to come check out their patterns. They are two very talented knit a holics! | ||||||

KITS, TOOLS, AND BUTTONS GALORE? Who can forget kits, too. Everyone needs a "no-brainer" project sometimes! We carry quite a few kits from lots of smaller companies, some artists, and we look forward to making our own! You will have to come check these out regularly! We also have great tools for your project -Addi Turbos, Bamboo, Kollage Square Needles, and Sox Stixs by Lantern Moon, to name a few, but you can't forget to check out our other "funky" notions for your project! And, our buttons...you'll just have to see what all the fuss is about! They're terrific! Oh, we love minutia...! | ||||||

OUR PASSIONS? Well, we're just about out of breath from all of that fun! Please come visit us, and whenever possible support our charity fundraisers from time to time. We are big believers/supporters of animals, and have a soft spot too close to home for breast cancer awareness. Without animals, where would we get such great fibers for our hobby, and without gifted, creative women, where would we be?
